Yes, but the replay comes from two specific places rather than from randomized puzzles. The official Steam description calls the Tournament of Puzzles arenas "giant, replayable," and third-party reviewers report that cleared escape rooms can be re-entered later to chase a better grade — according to Xbox Tavern, finished rooms can be replayed at any time from your dorm room. What the rooms do not appear to offer is variation: the same review notes there was no evidence of randomization.

What is Tournament of Puzzles?

It is a major content update for Escape Academy built around head-to-head competition, presented as a road trip with Coach Yoach. Per the official store page, it adds three arenas, three new game modes, puzzle power-ups, additional achievements, and "lots and lots of puzzles," framed as a globe-spanning series of puzzle competitions against your friends. Solo players are not locked out — the same description says Coach Yoach will let any Escapist work through the courses alone.

TypeNameWhat the official description says

ArenaHackanneryAn abandoned fish cannery turned hacker enclave on a rain-soaked pier, heavy on technological and aquatic-themed puzzles
ArenaThe Showman's StudioThe biggest theater in Escape Academy, stocked with magical challenges

ModeTic-Tac-ToeConnect three, where the X's and O's are all locked up
ModeScavenger HuntSearch for trophies while hunting for solutions to tricky puzzles

Are the Tournament of Puzzles arenas replayable?

Yes — the word appears in the official description itself, which calls them "giant, replayable arenas, complete with secret passages and alternate routes." Beyond that label, the description does not explain what changes between runs: it does not say whether the arenas rearrange, and exact arena counts per mode and any rotation rules are not spelled out on the store page.

Which game modes can you replay?

The three named modes are the new competitive formats added by the update. The Steam feature list confirms Player vs Player, Online PvP, Shared/Split Screen PvP, and Cross-Platform Multiplayer, so you can rematch against someone in the same room or online, and the store description frames the whole update as a head-to-head showdown against your friends, with Escape Race spelled out as a race to the finish. According to the PlayStation store page, the game supports 1–2 players. Whether each mode is playable solo as well as competitively is only confirmed at the level of the arenas as a whole, where single-player practice is explicitly offered.

Do power-ups change matches?

They are meant to, yes. The official description says Tournament of Puzzles adds "exciting new Power-Ups," letting you "deploy distracting traps against your opponents or gain an advantage by utilizing assists and secure the win." That is the full extent of what has been published: the store page does not list individual power-ups, their durations, cooldowns, or how they are earned during a match, and it is not officially documented what the full power-up roster contains.

Are there new achievements to earn?

Yes. The Tournament of Puzzles description promises "additional achievements," so the content adds to the game's achievement list. The Steam store page currently shows 40 achievements in total for Escape Academy, with "Next Stop: Escape Academy" highlighted as the showcase achievement; some highlighted achievements are flagged as hidden, and their names are not listed. The store page does not break the 40 down by which ones arrived with which update, so it is not officially documented how many of them belong specifically to the Tournament of Puzzles arenas and modes.
