Escape Academy Official Website and Developer Info
The official Escape Academy website is escapeacademygame.com. Learn where to find developer info, the Steam page, and official game details.
What is the official Escape Academy website?
The official Escape Academy website is escapeacademygame.com, the address listed as the game's developer website alongside its store listing.
The other official page players usually want first is the game's Steam store page at store.steampowered.com/app/1812090, where 1812090 is the game's Steam app ID and the game is sold. Both addresses are the ones attached to the game's official record, so if a page you find elsewhere claims to be "the" Escape Academy site, these two are the ones to check against.
Who runs the official Escape Academy website?
The site is the developer website for Escape Academy, a game developed by Coin Crew Games and published by iam8bit Presents. Those are the two names to look for on anything official.
Worth being precise about what is and is not documented: the listing identifies escapeacademygame.com as the developer website for the game, but it does not spell out the day-to-day arrangement of who maintains the site, hosts it, or answers messages sent through it. If you need to contact someone about the game, treat the developer (Coin Crew Games) and the publisher (iam8bit Presents) as the two parties named in the official materials, and treat anything beyond that as unconfirmed.
Details you can confirm from the official record:
- Developer: Coin Crew Games
- Publisher: iam8bit Presents
- Release date: July 13, 2022
- US store price: $19.99
- Genre: Adventure
- Platform listed: Windows
- Supported languages: English (with full audio), French, German, Spanish - Spain
Where is the official Escape Academy Steam page?
The official Steam page is store.steampowered.com/app/1812090. The app ID is handy for searching, since it points unambiguously at Escape Academy rather than one of the DLCs or the sequel.
The page carries the features players usually ask about before buying: Single-player, Multi-player, PvP, Online PvP, Shared/Split Screen PvP, Co-op, Online Co-op, Shared/Split Screen Co-op, Shared/Split Screen, Cross-Platform Multiplayer, Remote Play Together, Steam Cloud, Family Sharing, Steam Trading Cards and 40 Steam achievements. PvP and Cross-Platform Multiplayer are listed as separate features, and the store does not say which modes are cross-platform. Controller support is listed as full. Valve's official Steam Deck rating for Escape Academy is Verified, with test notes citing a fully functional default controller configuration, on-screen controller icons that match the Deck, legible interface text and good performance on default graphics settings.
One caution: the store page description covers both the base game and the Tournament of Puzzles content update, which adds three arenas (Tomb of the First Escapist, Hackannery and The Showman's Studio), three modes (Escape Race, Tic-Tac-Toe and Scavenger Hunt) and puzzle power-ups. If you are comparing what you get, read the description sections carefully rather than assuming everything listed ships in the base campaign.
Where are the official pages for Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School?
The sequel's official pages are separate from the first game's store listing. An official Steam announcement dated November 5, 2026 states that Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School is out now on Steam, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, and it name-checks a Season Pass, a Deluxe Edition and bundles with Escape Simulator 2, TOEM 2 and We Were Here Tomorrow. The same announcement credits Coin Crew Games and iam8bit Presents.
According to iam8bit Presents' Escape Academy 2 page, the sequel carries a release date of November 5, 2026 and is playable solo or in co-op, with both online and splitscreen couch co-op support. That page also describes an open-world campus, an all-new campaign, and an optional No-Timer Mode for players who would rather puzzle at their own pace. Those details come from the publisher's page, so check it directly if you want the current wording.
For the first game, keep using escapeacademygame.com and its Steam store page; for the sequel, the official Steam announcements and the publisher's page are the documented sources.
