Escape Academy lists four languages on its Steam store page: English, French, German, and Spanish - Spain. English is the only one carrying the asterisk that marks full audio support on the official Steam store page; the other three appear in the list without it.

The listing carries a single footnote explaining that languages with full audio support are marked, and only English carries that mark. The Steam page gives the language names and that footnote; it does not break them into separate interface, subtitle, or audio columns, so this table is the store listing's breakdown.

Is Escape Academy fully voiced in English?

The Steam listing marks English for full audio support, but it does not state that every line of dialogue is voiced. "Full audio support" is the exact wording used; the listing does not go further and describe how much of the dialogue is voiced. The extent of voice work is therefore not spelled out on the store page.

Music and sound design are credited to doseone on the store page, but that credit is a separate line item from the language table. The listing does not describe how voice work and the score are split up, so it gives no breakdown of which audio elements are language-specific.

Are French, German and Spanish text-only?

The Steam listing does not label French, German, or Spanish - Spain as text-only. What is confirmed is narrower: all three appear in the language list, and none of them carries the full-audio marking that English does. The listing does not say whether those three are subtitle-and-interface only or include any voiced content at all.

It also does not describe how extensive the translated text is — whether every line of dialogue, item description, and note is localized in each of those three. The language list is the confirmed part; the depth of each translation is not set out on the store page.

Is Spanish - Spain the only Spanish option?

Yes, on the Steam listing. The entry reads "Spanish - Spain" rather than a generic Spanish or a Latin American variant, and no second Spanish option appears. If your group plays in Latin American Spanish, that variant is not listed for the game.

Regional storefronts can differ. According to the PlayStation Store page, the PS4 and PS5 release is currently offered at $3.99, discounted from an original price of $19.99, with one to two players supported. That page does not include a language list, so the Steam listing remains the clearest language breakdown among these listings.

Will more languages be added later?

The Steam listing does not announce any additional languages for the original game. It lists the current four and does not include a note about future language additions.

The sequel is separate. According to iam8bit's Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School page, the follow-up launched on November 5, 2026 with online and splitscreen co-op plus an optional No-Timer Mode. That page describes those features but does not list supported languages.
